Volunteers are the heart and soul of Family Promise of Essex County.

We have volunteer opportunities for individuals with various gifts, skills and time availability.

There are currently three main ways to volunteer at Family Promise Essex.

• Shelter Program – When a group of people unite and work towards a common goal, the sky is truly the limit to what they can accomplish. If your congregation or organization is looking for ways to support our mission, consider supporting families in our Shelter Program. You can do this by shopping for groceries, making meals, sponsoring community events, etc. Like we said, the sky is the limit!

• General Support – Got some time on your hands? Tired of looking at a screen? Feeling bored and listless? Consider helping us at Family Promise. We have a variety of tasks, big and small, that need attention, and we welcome volunteers with all different schedules.
